It is the intent of this RFP to establish a term contract, with the possibility of multiple contractors for the City of Abilene for City owned facilities on a scheduled and "as needed" basis. After evaluation and award of the contract(s) the City intends to have a primary contractor with one or more backup contractors to perform the services mentioned in the scope of work Maintenance, repair, and installation of new equipment will include labor, parts, tools, equipment, miscellaneous materials and supervision to facilitate the general maintenance, testing, sampling, standard repair and emergency repair. All work must be performed in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and codes. The Contractor will be responsible for obtaining any necessary permits.
