The work is generally described as follows: Replacement of Water Line along 76th St N from Mingo to Atlanta in Owasso, Oklahoma. Each Bid Must Be Accompanied by a Proposal Guaranty Payable to the Owasso Public Works Authority for Five Percent (5%) of the Total Amount of the Bid. A certified check may be used in lieu of a PROPOSAL GUARANTY. Performance and Maintenance and Statutory Payment Bonds in the Amount of 100 Percent (100%) of the Contract Price, With a Corporate Surety Approved by the Owasso Public Works Authority, Will Be Required for the Faithful Performance of the Contract. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents shall be submitted to Krystal Amberg, Contract Administrator, by email engineering@cityofowasso.com by end of business (11:30am) on January 24th, 2025. BIDDER accepts the provisions of the Agreement as to liquidated damages of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) for each consecutive calendar day that expires after the time specified for substantial completion until the work is substantially complete The construction contract time for this project is One Hundred and Eighty (180) calendar days until substantial completion, and the time is Two Hundred and Ten (210) calendar days in which to be completed and ready for final payment. The Owasso Public Works Authority May Waive Any Informalities or Minor Defects or Reject Any and All Bids. Any Bid May Be Withdrawn Prior to the Above Scheduled Time for the Opening of Bids or Authorized Postponement Thereof.
