Renovation of an educational facility in Portland, Oregon. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 30,433-square-foot educational facility.

This is a Contract for a Public Works Project subject to ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870. Further instructions are identified under the Instruction to Bidders in the contract documents. Project Addresses: Fir Ridge Campus School, 11215 SE Market St, Portland, OR 97216 All bids shall comply with the requirements of Oregon Revised Statutes and the District's local Public Contract Rules, latest editions. Bids must be fully completed upon the Bid Proposal provided herein in the manner provided in the "Instructions to Bidders". Bids will not be considered unless accompanied by certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond made payable to David Douglas School District in an amount equal to 10% of the Base Bid. Interest will not be allowed on bid security. David Douglas School District reserves the right to reject all and any bids not in compliance with all prescribed public procedures and requirements and to waive informalities in this bid. The Work consists of Misc. Building Improvements as indicated on Contract Documents prepared by Axis Design. Question Deadline 01/27/2025 Each Bidder shall examine the Bidding Documents carefully. Not later than 10 days prior to the date for receipt of Bids, shall make written request to the Architect for interpretation or correction of any ambiguity, inconsistency, or error therein which may have been discovered. The work will include finish upgrades in the existing main office space, new security at entry lobby, new storefront with doors at main entry with new accessibility upgrades, multi-purpose room restroom accessibility upgrades, new public address/intercom system, new reduced pressure backflow assembly with enclosure, and remove and replace portions of the existing roof systems, added roof drains, new gutters, downspouts, roof access ladder, and roof hatch per roofing assessment recommendations. Contractor to replace existing roof systems damaged from water intrusion as required for new scope of work including, but not limited, to plywood sheathing, insulation, curbs, blocking, roof flashing, etc. B. Contract Scope: Construction, demolition, renovation, and facility operations during occupancy.
