Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Bottineau, North Dakota. Completed plans call for the construction of a 10,416-square-foot, one-story above grade fire / police facility.

Project consists of a new one-story, 124' x 84', 10,416 SF pre-engineered metal building located at 115 6th Street West, Bottineau, ND 58318. Demolition and utilities by owner this Spring prior to the project starting. Site conditions are assumed to be suitable soil for construction and there is no intent from the City to provide any soil reports. Please review the bid group items and submit your bid envelope labeled appropriately for the corresponding bid group so we know what you are covering. Any bidders covering multiple bid groups will need to be sure their quotes for seprate bid groups are clearly labeled on their bid form within their envelope. Please be sure to note that there is a public bid opening for this project. This means that you cannot submit a bid via email to us directly. You must provide a sealed bid envelope following the bid instructions. These bid envelopes either need to be delivered to the address noted below by the deadline noted, or provided to Comstock at either our Fargo or Wahpeton office locations no later than 5:00 PM January 27th so we can deliver the envelope ourselves the following day for you. Direct all inquiries to the GC. Addendum #1 has been issued as of 1-22-2025. Please see attached and the plan room for the Addendum 1 information on the Bottineau Fire Station project. Please be sure to review the document and acknowledge addendum 1 on your bids for the project. This needs to be noted that you acknowledge the information and your pricing is reflective of any updates to the plans. Also, I wanted to remind all subs planning to bid on the project that the project requires a public bid opening and the bid date has not changed of January 28th at 2:00 PM local time. In order to submit pricing on the project, you must submit your pricing in a sealed envelope delivered to the Bottineau City Hall as described in the project documentation. Your sealed bid envelope must include the filled out bid form inside the envelope, along with a 5% bid bond/security either inside or on preferrably in a separate envelope on the outside of your bid envelope. Bids envelopes can be dropped off at our Fargo or Wahpeton office locations as well if that is more convenient for you, but they would need to be delivered no later than 5:00 PM January 27th so we can take them to the bid opening for you on the 28th. If bids are mailed to Bottineau, I would recommend you ensure the delivery time can be guranteed before the deadline so your pricing can be reviewed and accepted if you are the low responsible bidder.
