Site work and renovation of a civil project in Lemoore Naval Air Station, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The work includes Replacing existing 8 inch diameter domestic water pipe with new 12 inch diameter domestic water pipe from Tanks 52 and 53 to Building 50 pump manifold and incidental related work. In order to determine the best value proposal for this project, the Government will evaluate all contractors using price only. The Government will evaluate the total price for CLIN 0001 Building 50 project. Award will be made to the responsible offeror whose proposal is determined to be the LOWEST PRICE. Price will be evaluated on the basis of fair and reasonable. A price which is found to be either unreasonably high or unrealistically low in relation to the proposed work may result in the proposal being eliminated from competition, either on the basis that the offeror does not understand the requirement or that it has made an unrealistic proposal. Additionally, past performance evaluations obtained from previous and/or existing task orders under your contract will also be considered. Liquidated Damages-Construction (Sept 2000) (a) If the Contractor fails to complete the work within the time specified in the contract, the Contractor shall pay liquidated damages to the Government in the amount of $500.00 for each calendar day of delay until the work is completed or accepted. (b) If the Government terminates the Contractor's right to proceed, liquidated damages will continue to accrue until the work is completed. These liquidated damages are in addition to excess costs of repurchase under the Termination clause. Range of Magnitude As specified under FAR 36.204 Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects, the range of magnitude is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
