Bids are solicited for a project to install permanent bypass infrastructure on the 48" Welded-Steel Effluent Force Main at the ACUA City Island Treatment Plant in Atlantic City, NJ. The work includes, but is not limited to site clearing, demo of existing piping, relocation of auxiliary piping, installation of temporary bypass, installation of permanent bypass assembly, construction of helical piles and pile cap pipe supports. All work to be performed according to the plans and specifications. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the total bid, not to exceed $20,000.00. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq, and N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq. No questions will be answered over the phone. Bids may be rejected for any of the following reasons: All bids pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-13.2; If more than one bid is received from an individual, firm or partnership, corporation or association under the same name; Multiple bids from an agent representing competing bidders; The bid is inappropriately unbalanced; The bidder is determined to possess, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-4b, Prior Negative Experience; or, If the successful bidder fails to enter into a contract within 21 days, Sundays and holidays excepted, or as otherwise agreed upon by the parties to the contract.
