The Manitoba Centennial Centre Corporation is requesting the design, engineering & quotation for a new, main seating area, stereo line array loudspeaker system, located in the Manitoba Centennial Concert Hall. The Audio Supplier is to provide a full 3D performance and rendering predictive design of their system choice and its interaction with the concert hall. This design should be submitted complete with seat-by-seat performance data. The system shall provide a frequency range of 25 Hz - 20 kHz. A direct SPL mean of 103 dB A weighting continuous RMS level, or better. The SPL Distribution should be 6 dB or better over 95% of audience area. The recommended system size is (10-12) line array modules configured in a left and right hang with (8) eight dual 18" cardioid subwoofers. The recommended enclosure performance of the line array module is a maximum SPL 143 dB with a usable bandwidth of (-10 dB) 42 Hz - 20 kHz, The recommended line array module component size LF: 2 x 12" The recommended amplifiers should have full onboard DSP processing ability within the amplifier and direct digital inputs. All applicable software needed to upload design criteria and settings as well as system management is to be provided with licensed authorization and included in quotation costs. Acceptable brands include L'Acoustics, d&B, Adamson and Meyer Sound. The Audio Supplier is required to provide "all components", interfacing and cabling to make the digital interconnection between the client's AVID S6L soundboard and the digital inputs of the amplifiers. The Audio Supplier is expected to provide road carts to accommodate all line array modules for removal and transport. The Audio Supplier shall furnish all equipment, material, cable, and supplies required to supply a full working sound system.
