The Work Includes the Furnishing of All Labor, Material, and Equipment Necessary or Required to Complete All Work Set Forth in the Specifications. The Work Generally Consists of Milling, Resurfacing of Base Course as Required, and Striping Improvements. Proposals Must Be Made on the Standard Proposal Forms in a Manner Designated in the Contract Documents, Must Be Enclosed in a Sealed Envelope Bearing the Name and Address of the Bidder and the Name of the Work on the Outside and Must Be Accompanied by All Items Identified in the Contract Documents Including, but Not Limited to, a Statement of Consent of Surety From a Surety Company Holding a Certificate of Authorization to Do Business in the State of New Jersey and a Bid Guarantee (Proposal Security) for Not Less Than Ten Percent (10%) of the Amount Bid Except That the Guarantee Need Not Exceed $20,000.00. All Bids Must Be Accompanied by Electronic Version in Cd/dvd/flash Drive Form. The Contract Governing This Work is Funded by Monies Received by Bergen County Under Title I of the Housing and Urban-rural Recovery Act of 1983 (P.l. 98-181). Under the Said Act, the Davis-bacon Act is Applicable to the Contracted Work. Accordingly, the Contractor Must Abide by the Provisions of the Federal Labor Standards Which Are Included as a Part of the Conditions of This Contract. the Federal Labor Standards Found in This Section Shall Take Precedence Over Any Contradicting Condition and Provisions Found Within the Previous Sections of This Specification. All Forms Found in This Section Must Be Completed and Submitted as Part of the Sealed Bid Which Will Be Received by the Borough of Leonia on or Before Date at Time Prevailing Time. Failure to Complete the Forms Found in This Section May Result in a Rejection of Bid. The Borough of Leonia Reserves the Right to Consider the Bids for Sixty (60) Days After the Receipt Thereof, and Further Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids Either in Whole or in Part and Also to Waive Any Informality in Any and Make Such Awards or Take Action as May Be in the Best Interest of the Borough of Leonia.
