The City of Turlock (hereinafter referred to as the "City") is requesting proposals for qualified firms to provide bus stop cleaning and garbage removal services at fixed route bus stops effective March 1, 2025. In the heart of California's Central Valley, Turlock is the second largest city in Stanislaus County located 100 miles south of Sacramento, CA covering an area just over 16 square miles with a population of over 73,000. Turlock is a General Law City that operates under the Council/Manager form of government. All questions must be in writing and received at least five (5) working days prior to the closing date for submittal of this Request for Proposal (RFP), to provide time for issuing and forwarding answers. The City will not be responsible for oral interpretations of the Request for Proposal (RFP). Request for Information (RFI) should be directed to: purchasing@turlock.ca.us Question Deadline 01/21/2025 The Professional shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supplies, services, tasks, incidental and customary work necessary to perform the services competently, including trash bags ("liners"). The Professional shall be able to complete the services within the timeframe and at the frequency specified by the City. The Professional shall identify the number of staff (full and parttime) assigned to the Contract, the number of estimated hours (or fraction thereof listed in minutes) to complete each task identified, and the price for each task as well as the price for a specific call for service. Travel time, fuel and mileage will not be compensated as individual costs. The Professional shall build in the cost of travel, fuel and mileage based on the list of bus stop locations provided and the frequency of service for those locations listed below as Exhibit A. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
