Renovation of a municipal facility in Montreal, Quebec. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The purpose of this Invitation to Tender (ITT) is to enable BGIS (the Owner) to obtain bids from qualified construction professionals for the performance of the work described below. Replacement of the building's three chillers and related work. Specifically: Replace the geothermal chiller with modular four (4) pipe geothermal heat pumps with a redundancy module. This equipment requires both heating and cooling commissioning. Replace the two (2) air-cooled chillers with screw compressors and their condensers on the roof with two (2) water-to-water chillers interfaced with two (2) liquid chillers located on the roof. This work includes: - installation of a new glycol heat rejection network. - relocation of the rooftop units with the addition of a platform and an acoustic screen.
