Alcott ES - OII Classroom Outlet / Fencing Questions Due Date: Jan 7th 2025, 3:30 PM CST Fence Scope Notes-- 1) Contractor to furnish and install new decorative metal fencing per 32 31 19. a) Remove existing +/- 750 LF fence with post foundations as well as gates (refer attached plan). b) Install +/- 750LF black wrought iron fence to match existing fence. c) Install (4) single man gates d) Install (2) double gates 2) Contractor to protect nearby PreK playground during construction. 3) Contractor to protect and/or install construction barrier at sidewalk to not impede pedestrian traffic. Electrical Scope Notes-- 1) Furnish and install (57) 120V, 20A receptacles on (28) dedicated circuits in (28) Classrooms @ 2 tamper resistant receptacles per Classroom with associated wire mold, wire, boxes, etc. as needed, and connect to new branch panel serving floor. a) 1st and 2nd Floor Classrooms all have surface mounted raceways that shall be utilized for new receptacles to match existing. 3rd Floor Classrooms shall have new installation of surface mounted raceways and receptacles. Assume 100 LF of conduit/wiring per new circuit (per floor). b) Assume 50 LF of surface mounted raceway per Classroom for new circuit in addition to conduit. c) All new receptacles shall be tamper resistant type per Chicago Electrical Code. d) All new receptacles final location in each Classroom to be coordinated with School.
