The project is located in the following Section, Township, Range: o Section 21, Township 40N, Range 8E DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT The scope of work involves removing the end terminal of the existing guardrails and installing a new guardrail to create a continuous guardrail. The work includes guardrail end terminal removal, guardrail installation, side slope regrading, and all necessary erosion control and stabilization/restoration needed for the proposed improvements. The project includes all incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the improvements as shown in the plans and described herein. The Contractor shall be responsible for protecting utility property from construction operations as outlined in Article 107.39 of the Standard Specifications. Any damage to the underground facilities caused by the Contractor shall be repaired to the satisfaction of the Department at the Contractor's expense, including temporary repairs which may be required to keep the facility operational while material is being obtained to make permanent repairs. The Contractor shall exercise due care and caution when working within the construction work zone. This shall include, but not be limited to, existing structure frames and grates, handholes, pedestals, etc. which are located within or adjacent to the pavement
