**As of February 19, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. Farmington City is requesting proposals for the construction of the Lower Farmington Creek Trail Project. This project consists of improvements to the existing Farmington Creek Trail, as well as reroutes to the existing trail which are unsustainable. The project includes new trail construction, trail restoration, trail switchbacks, rock steps, rock stairways, rock retaining walls, bench cuts, fill material, standard culverts with rock headwalls, stair set, bridge construction, etc. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of 5 percent of Bidder's maximum Bid price (determined by adding the base bid and all alternates) and in the form of a certified check, bank money order, or a Bid bond (on the form included in the Bidding Documents) issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraphs 6.01 and 6.02 of the General Conditions. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES Provisions for liquidated damages, if any, for failure to timely attain a Milestone, Substantial Completion, or completion of the Work in readiness for final payment, are set forth in the Agreement. Substantial Completion: Contractor shall pay Owner $500 for each day that expires after the time (as duly adjusted pursuant to the Contract) specified in Paragraph 4.02.A above for Substantial Completion until the Work is substantially complete. Contract Times: Days The Work shall be substantially completed and billed by September 30, 2025. Times commence to run as provided in Paragraph 4.01 of the General Conditions, and completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions by September 30, 2025.
