Demolition, site work and renovation of a civil project in Sacramento, California. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the renovation of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and water / sewer project.

This project includes demolition, replacement, and reinforcement of existing pipe and surrounding structures at two levee sites in Yolo County. This project will replace existing 24-inch diameter corrugated metal pipe culverts with new 24-inch diameter reinforced concrete pipe culverts. Existing concrete headwall, outlet structures and gates at each end of the culverts will also be replaced. A. This project includes the following principal features: 1. Selective demolition of existing CMP, flap gates, slide gates, headwalls, outlet structures, risers, concrete slab, shotcrete, gate, chip seal, and subgrade materials. 2. Earthwork included excavation, levee embankment fill, earthwork testing, gravel filter material, rock slope protection, temporary turnaround ramps, and temporary cofferdam. 3. Dewatering. 4. Furnishing and installing 24-inch diameter Reinforced Concrete Pipe (RCP). 5. Furnishing and installing flap gates, slide gates, concrete risers, headwalls, outlet structures, concrete encasements, and concrete slab. 6. Furnishing and placing aggregate base. 7. Removing and repairing chip sealed surface. 8. Furnishing and placing Controlled Low Strength Material (CLSM) in the abandoned CMP and at the location shown. 9. Miscellaneous metalwork. 10. Furnishing and placing seeding materials or hydroseeding, and erosion control. 11. Installation and removal of exclusion fence.
