*As of April 28, 2025, construction work for this project started around three weeks ago, and is expeceted to be completed in August 2027. No other Bid Packages will be issued other than Bid Package #1 and Bid Package #2. JE Dunn, as Construction Manager, is taking bids for Bid Package 1 on the addition and renovations to Dickinson High School. The scopes of work for which we are accepting bids are: precast concrete, building & site concrete, concrete polishing, structural steel, elevator, earthwork & site demo, structural excavation, and site utilities. This project consists of a 105,000SF precast and structural steel addition to the existing Dickinson High School including an auditorium; band and choir rooms with practice and storage spaces; commons area with concessions and school store; kitchen and serving area; media room; miscellaneous mechanical, storage, and common spaces; and a 3-story classroom wing. There will be interior renovations to the existing high school that will include mechanical and electrical systems updates; addition of a fire suppression system; and new classrooms and office spaces. The project will also include demolition of gym storage on the west side of the existing gym; the greenhouse building; the football storage building; the pods of the existing high school; the tennis courts; miscellaneous paving and utilities; and interior areas that require renovation. Site improvements include a new parking lot and drop off areas; new underground utilities; retention pond and site grading. To be qualified to perform the Work described in the Bidding Documents, the Bidder must submit and/or update the necessary information on Contractor's online Subcontractor Management System located at https://sms.jedunn.com/. All bidders must be licensed for the full amount of the bid per sections. If not, the bid will be rejected, and the contract awarded to the next lowest responsible bidder. The Bid Proposal Form and Scope of Work included in JE Dunn Front End Specifications should be filled out correctly. The Governing body reserves the right to reject any and all bids at their discretion and/or rebid the project until a satisfactory bid is received.
