Reference Number 0000371592 The Smithfield School Department is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide professional design & engineering services for the RIDE Stage II submission, consistent with RIDE's Necessity of Construction Guidelines (see link below). The submission will focus on health and safety capital improvements ("Projects") and the Design firm will provide the owner with a Five-year Master Plan and prepare the owner to initiate Stages III and IV. The Smithfield School Department also will be completing a total of two Immediate Health and Safety projects. One to be substantially completed before 06/30/2025 and the other to be completed before 12/31/2025. The contract period will begin approximately 2/7/2025 and will conclude once the Town and District have received their RIDE Stage II Necessity of School Construction approval from the School Board Association, approximately in December 2025.
