Heating and cooling and air conditioning HVAC construction and maintenance services. This contract primarily consists of replacing the existing gymnasium heating and ventilating units with packaged rooftop units capable of air-conditioning, ventilating, and heating for the following ten schools: Phase 1: Centennial HS, Cradlerock ES / Lake Elkhorn MS, Elkridge Landing MS, and Guilford ES. Phase 2: Glenelg HS, Howard HS, Ilchester ES, Jeffers Hill ES, and Bryant Woods ES. All final equipment shall be adequately powered. The work shall also include all automatic temperature control upgrades which are affected by the removal of equipment and the installation of new systems. This shall include modifications of the existing system sequence of operations and updating the equipment and system graphics at the central building management system (BMS). Structural reinforcement shall be provided for all new rooftop equipment. Also, where required, provide safety guardrails. All roof modifications shall be coordinated with owner's roofing contractors where roof is under warranty. Alternate No. 1: Replace all existing air distribution systems associated with the new DX rooftop air handling units with new double-wall spiral round and / or flat-oval ductwork along with all associated air devices, duct supports, air volume / balancing dampers, etc. All ductwork shall be field-painted (color to be confirmed by HCPSS). Phase 1: HVAC equipment shall be ordered in the summer of 2025. Construction shall be completed in the summer of 2026. Phase 2: HVAC equipment shall be ordered in the summer of 2026.
