Liquid Asphalt Bid to be from February 1, 2025, through January 31, 2026, or until the County Commissioners call for new bids, Each bidder must deposit with his bid, a bid security in the amount of three-thousand dollars ($3,000.00), to secure the bidders express covenant that if the bidder is awarded the contract the bidder will, within ten (10) days, enter into a formal contract; or otherwise the bidder will pay to Flathead County the difference between the amount of his bid and the amount for which Flathead County contracts with another party to complete the contract; bid security shall be payable to Flathead County and shall be in the form of lawful money of the United States; a cashiers check, certified check, bank money order or bank draft issued by a Montana bank; or a bid bond executed by a surety corporation authorized to do business in Montana.
