Description

Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Kalispell, Montana. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The sitework related to a new steel and aluminum bleachers providing seating for 1600 patrons for the fairgrounds, which will be let in a separate package. This bid package includes excavation, site cast foundations, compaction, backfill, grading, storm water improvements, concrete and asphalt, new fences, and entry gates will control access and secure non-public areas. Each bid or proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier s Check, or Bid Bond payable to Flathead County in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. Successful Bidder(s) shall furnish an approved Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. Insurance as required shall be provided by the successful Bidder(s) and a certificate(s) of that insurance shall be provided. The right is reserved to reject any or all proposals received, to waive informalities, to postpone the award of the contract for a period of not to exceed sixty (60) days, and to accept the lowest responsive and responsible bid which is in the best interest of Owner.
