The City of Panama City Beach (the "City"), under the provisions of Section 287.055, Florida Statutes (the Consultant's Competitive Negotiation Act), hereby gives notice that it seeks qualification statements for professional services related to construction engineering and inspection of North Richard Jackson Boulevard Intersection Improvement Project, Phase 2. This Project will generally include intersection improvements by constructing a roundabout, creating a north bound left turn lane into Home Depot's middle driveway, and eliminating cross movements at Market Street by extending the southbound left turn lanes leading to the intersection with Panama City Beach Parkway. As identified in the City's Local Agency Participation contract with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT). Consideration will be given to only those firms that are qualified pursuant to law and that have been prequalified by FDOT to perform the indicated types of work. This project is federally funded with assistance from the FDOT and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). By submitting a letter of response, the Consultant certifies that they are in compliance with FDOT Procedure No. 375-030-006 (Restriction on Consultants Eligibility to Compete for Department Contracts) and that no principle is presently suspended, proposed for debarment, declared ineligible or voluntarily excluded from participation on this transaction by any Federal Department or Agency. Contact with any other City official or City employee for the purpose of inquiries regarding this proposal or the meaning or interpretation of these specifications shall be grounds for disqualification. Each Statement of Qualifications shall be valid to the City for a period of ninety (90) days after opening.
