Kentfield School District ("District") will receive bids. Sealed bids for the award of a contract for: Adaline E. Kent Middle School Generator Project The Project includes installation of a generator at Adaline E. Kent Middle School. There will not be a Pre-Bid Conference. Each bid must conform and be responsive to this notice and all other documents comprising the contract documents. All forms must be completed, signed, and returned with the bid. No bidder may withdraw its bid for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after the date set for the receipt of bids. The successful bidder shall file a payment bond issued by an admitted Surety authorized to conduct business in the State of California approved by the District. A performance bond will also be required. This Project is a public works project and is subject to the payment of prevailing wages. This Contract is not subject to prequalification pursuant to Public Contract Code section 20111.6. Each bidder shall be a licensed contractor pursuant to the Business and Professions Code and shall be licensed in the following classifications: C-10 License . No bid will be accepted from a contractor who has not been licensed in accordance with the California Business and Profession Code at the time the bid is submitted. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to accept or reject any one or more items of a bid, or to waive any irregularities or informalities in the bid or in the bidding process.
