The proposed construction involves HMA patching, 1.5asphalt milling, and HMA asphalt (1.5), new storms sewers, sidewalks, and curbs along with all incidental work required, as more fully specified in the Contract Document and Plans. All questions concerning the letting of this project shall be submitted in writing to the Design Consultant (USI Consultants, Inc. Attention: Mitch Hansel, 8415 E. 56th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46216, mhansel@usiconsultants.com) prior to 12:00 p.m. local time, February 5 th , 2025. The work called for under these specifications, includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, appurtenances, and means of conveyance for all materials and equipment necessary for the construction of the following project: All work is to be completed in accordance with these Plans and Special Provisions as approved by the Engineer. INSPECTION AND SUPERVISION The BLUFFTON Street Superintendent or his representative shall be the Engineer for this project and shall have authority over the construction of this project at all times. All necessary construction engineering layout work shall be performed by the Contractor at his expense and subject to the approval of the Engineer or his duly authorized representative. VERIFICATION OF WORK In addition to the procedure for verification of work performed as described in these Specifications and/or Special Provisions, the Contractor shall lend whatever necessary assistance the Engineer may request with respect to verification of work performed.
