Site work for a water / sewer project in Old Lyme, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Town of Old Lyme, CT (Owner) invites sealed Bids for Old Lyme Sound View and Town Area B Gravity Sewer Project CWF #660-C for construction of new sanitary sewer collection system including gravity sewer pipes, manholes, service laterals and chimneys, low pressure sewer piping, laterals, and cleanouts. Substantial Completion: within 355 days. Final Completion: within 385 days. Bidding is per Connecticut General Statutes and municipal codes and ordinances and is subject to employment opportunity and affirmative action requirements of the General Statutes of Connecticut, Sec. 4a-60; Connecticut Executive Order Nos. Three, Sixteen, and Seventeen; and all provisions of Federal Executive Order No. 11246. Pursuant to CGS 4b-91, Bidders must hold a current Prequalification Certificate for SEWER AND WATER LINES from the Department of Administrative Services (DAS) and a copy of the DAS Prequalification Certificate must be submitted with Bids. Pursuant to CGS 4b-91 (j). Project Funding: in part through Clean Water State Revolving Fund (SRF) and is subject to approval by the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP). Compliance required with: EPA provisions & policies, subsections (h), (j), and (o) of Section 22a-482-4, Davis-Bacon Act & wage requirements, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program; the Federal American Iron and Steel (AIS) requirements, Federal Davis-Bacon requirements and wage rates and State of Connecticut prevailing wage rates, whichever is greater, and other Federal requirements. NOTE: The Build America, Buy America (BABA) Act requirements are waived for this Project. Certified DBE participation goals: minimum 3#% D/MBE & 5% D/WBE applicable to total dollars paid under resulting Contract. Neither the State of Connecticut nor any of its departments, agencies or employees is or will be a party to this Invitation to Bid or any resulting Contract.
