Site work for a military facility in Ashland City, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a military facility.
The State of Tennessee, Military Department is requesting your company to bid on installing a new fence and gates for this location, per the below scope of work and the attached. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials and equipment to complete job as specified below. Bid Price shall include all materials, equipment, and labor. Contractor will provide at time of bid with specs of brands that is consider superior or equal for approval. Security Fence Approved Model - Ameristar Impasse II - Gauntlet Style or written approved equal, a spec sheet(s) shall be provided at time of bid submission. - Install approximately 257 LF of 7' tall security - Three-rail design - 2.75" wide Pales - 11 ga rails - 12 ga I beam posts - Line post to be on 8' centers, all posts set in concrete, minimum embed 36" - Black "Perma-Coat" finish with 15-year warranty Security Gate Approved Model - Ameristar Passport IS - Gauntlet Style or approved equal, a spec sheet(s) shall be provided at time of bid submission. - Install (1) 24 LF cantilever 7' tall security gate - Three-rail design - Black "Perma-Coat" finish with 15-year warranty Man Gate chain link - (2) Single swing gate, 8' opening, 1-5/8" frame diameter, 40-weight frame, 3" O.D. gate posts, 90-degree hinges with strong arm latch. Chain Link Fence - Install approximately 545 LF of 6' tall with galvanized chain link fence - with (3) strands of barbed wire, 12.5-gauge, 4-point barbs, max 5" o.c. - 9-gauge fabric with 2" chain link mesh - 3" WT/LG40 corner, end and pull posts. - 2" WT/LG40 weight line posts, - 1-5/8" diameter, 40-weight, top rail - 7-gauge bottom tension wire. - Line post to be on 10' centers, all posts set in concrete - Tie in new fencing to existing chain link fence post using all new mechanical ties and new barbed wire as needed. - Selvages: Top and Bottom selvage twisted. Access Controls - Shall be compatible with existing AIPHONE system and tie in. - (1) dual height gooseneck-stand with two access control pads with AI - IX-DV cameras - Minimum 18" diameter concrete pad, embedded 24" in the ground, for gooseneck stand - install a (120v or 240v) single phase circuit, from the nearest service panel in the facility to the gate operator with 1" fiberglass/HDPE or PVC conduit with pull string - install 1" fiberglass/HDPE or PVC conduit for data communication from existing AIPHONE master station IX-MV system to the access control pad/camera and operator with pull string - fully integrate the existing system with new components; test & verify proper operation of controls - (2) protective 6" steel pipe bollards, concrete filled, painted safety yellow, embedded 3' in the ground in minimum 12'diameter hole with concrete. Shall extend 48" above grade and be plumb in all directions - Conduits shall be bored under any concrete or asphalt surfaces. Heavy Duty Gate Operators Approved Model - Hy Security SlideDriver 15 for gates les than 1500lb or approved equal, a spec sheet(s) shall be provided at time of bid submission. - 18" minimum concrete pad thickness, minimum 8" embedded in the ground - All conduits set in concrete pad and concealed by the operator to prevent tampering - install a (120v or 240v) single phase circuit, from the nearest service panel in the facility to the gate operator with 1" fiberglass/HDPE or PVC conduit with pull string - install 1" fiberglass/HDPE or PVC conduit for data communication from existing AIPHONE system to the access control pad/camera and operator with pull string - (1) free egress detector loop, cut in existing asphalt pavement - (1) reversing detector loop, cut in existing asphalt pavement - Accessories to be installed o Internal solenoid lock kit o Fire & Emergency Access Lock Box (with manual release) and Click2enter.
