The purpose of this bid is to provide and install asphalt and concrete coverings at various sites throughout the District as specified in the Scope of Work and Bid Form. The covered work consists of furnishing all labor, material, equipment, transportation, and supervision for performing all necessary operations required for proper execution of scope of work as listed in the bid documents. Post notifications two-weeks prior to spraying in compliance with law. Remove and haul away 3" of soil and any existing concrete/pavers. Install 3" asphalt before overlay. Remove existing black handrails approximately 55'. o In front of ASB: Demo and remove four (4) planters, stumps, and exposed roots 12" below grade and three (3) 10' x 18' concrete slabs. Remove and haul away soil and base pave before overlay. o Trench 12" wide x 30" deep x 120' long and install 4" sand. District will install new gas line. Install another 4" sand, backfill and compact soil, and haul away all left-over soil and debris. Base pave any low spots as needed. o Excavate a 12"x12" footings, properly dispose soil, form a 12"x24" concrete stem wall/curb approximately 90' long with chamfered edges above footings, install 1/2 " rebar "L" shape 18" O.C. with three (3) cross bars, pour 3500 PSI big rock concrete with fiber. Base pave any low spots as needed. o Remove existing post and install two new sets of volleyball/pickle ball courts, four galvanized sleeves with caps, two feet deep footings x 12" wide, install 2" above existing elevation prior to overlay, four 2-7/8" galvanized post, with four (4) bolt on stainless steel Handle winch, and heavy-duty volleyball nets (model: HD2) or equal to. o Remove and replace eight (8) basketball nets with BSN Sports Brute Basketball nets or equal to. o Tack coat entire surface prior to overlay uniformly and evenly. Apply geotextile fabric over entire surface. o Overlay entire marked area with 2" thick, with 3/8" school mix asphalt overlay. o Seal coat with Guard Top or equal, all areas 21 days after asphalt installation with two separate coats. Allow one full dry day in between coats. Diluting the product over 15% will not be allowed. Contractor is responsible to provide documentation on how much water was added to the product.
