Site work, new construction and remodeling of a mixed-use development in Robertsdale, Alabama. Completed plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; for the remodel of a municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; water / sewer project; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
Failure to submit such application shall render the Bidder non-responsive and will not be permitted to bid on this project. To pre-qualify with the Commission, each prospective Bidder must furnish written evidence of competency and evidence of financial responsibility to the County. Accordingly, the County will not accept Pre-qualification Applications after 2:30 P.M., on January 29, 2025. Upon submittal of the Pre-qualification Application, the owner may make such investigations as he deems necessary to determine the ability of the Bidder to perform the work, and the Bidder shall furnish to the Owner all such information and data for this purpose as the Owner may request. The Owner reserves the right to reject any Application if the evidence submitted by, or investigation of, such Bidder fails to satisfy the Owner that such Bidder is properly qualified to carry out the obligations of the Agreement and to complete the Work. All Applicants will be notified prior to Bid. Project Description: Renovation of Central Annex Probate and Revenue Offices located in Robertsdale, Alabama The work consists of the following general scope. This project shall consist of a single-phase remodel and construction contract. The renovation will consist of interior demolition and remodel of +/- 7,000 sf existing office area and new construction of +/- 300 sf of exterior patio. The new construction will include limited site work for underground utilities and stormwater. It will be the responsibility of the awarded contractor to remove and dispose of all construction materials including but not limited to the following: Steel, Concrete, Concrete Block, Sheetrock, Utilities, or other building materials as defined by the drawings and specifications. Should asbestos laden materials be identified, the removal and disposal should follow all governing guidelines. All work for this project will be further defined in the contract documents. Estimated Construction Cost: +/- $2,000,000.00.
