The City of San Marcos ("the City") requests Qualifications from interested qualified Respondents to provide Program Management Services for the Cape's Dam Complex Project ("the Project") in accordance with the terms and Scope of Services specified herein. public safety, environmental conservation, historical preservation, and public recreation ("the Values") of the Cape's Dam Complex. Funding may come from local and federal sources and compliance with applicable regulations will be required. The Project will be managed by internally by Parks and Recreation Department in collaboration with Hays County ("the County") as provided within an adopted Interlocal Agreement. The successful Respondent will program management services for the Cape's Dam Project, which has been designated as a "Trinomial" by the Hays County Historical Commission in recognition of its historic importance and relevance. It is anticipated that the successful Respondent would engage in professionals specializing in Biology, Endangered Species Protection, Historical Preservation, Parks and Open Space Planning, and/or Structural Engineering, while considering and protecting established Values as identified. The selection of a Respondent and the execution of a contract, while anticipated, are not guaranteed by the City. The City reserves the right to determine which Response is in the City's best interest and to award the contract on that basis, to reject any and all Responses, and waive any irregularities of any Response. This Solicitation and the successful Response, or any part thereof, may be incorporated into and made a part of the final contract. The City reserves the right to negotiate the terms and conditions of the contract with the successful Respondent. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
