Renovation of a municipal facility in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
For print copies, there will be no charge for the first set per registered plan holder entity (whether an individual or a business); plan holder entities may order additional sets at their own expense. For print copies, a separate non-refundable shipping charge will be billed to the recipient (rates vary depending on method of delivery/shipping; contact A/E Graphics Inc. for current rates); print copies may also be held for pick-up by recipient. All Base Bid work shall be pursued, working continuously without interruption during regular working hours until complete for five - eight-hour days per week between the hours of 8:00 AM - 4:45 PM unless other work hours are negotiated. Noisy work shall proceed in compliance with the City of Milwaukee noise ordinance or other restrictions requested by the Housing Authority. B. On site work shall proceed no later than September 2025 C. Only one elevator may be removed from service at a time. Should work by the Elevator Contractor require the use of both elevators at the same time for special material movement, hall station installation, adjusting, testing, or other work, such work shall not occur without seventy-two (72) hours advance written notification to the Owner, and scheduled outside of regular working hours at the Elevator Contractor's expense. D. Progress meetings may be held periodically as requested by Owner or Consultant. Elevator Contractor's Project Manager shall attend progress meetings as scheduled to provide project status updates and to help coordinate Work by Others. The Housing Authority will assist bidders/contractors in developing a plan to comply with EBE and Section 3 requirements. Where appropriate, the bidder must comply with Executive Order 11246, Federal Labor Standards, Equal Opportunity requirements, and related program requirements as detailed in the Contract Documents. This contract opportunity is a Section 3 Covered Contract, and Section 3 Business Concerns are encouraged to respond. additional site visit note: If prospective bidders cannot attend this scheduled pre-bid inspection, then prospective bidders may contact Trevor Theissen of Travaux/Housing Authority, trevor.theissen@travauxinc.com, 414-336-0563, to arrange an alternate date and time for an inspection of the site before submitting a bid. The pre-bid walk-throughs are highly recommended for all bidders including General Contractors, Elevator Contractors, and MEP Subcontractors.
