The City of Surrey (the "City") invites contractors to provide a quotation on the form attached as Schedule B - Form of Quotation to Attachment 1 - Agreement - Goods and Services (the "Quotation") for the supply of the goods (if any) and services described in Schedule A - Specifications of Goods and Scope of Services to Attachment 1 - Agreement - Goods and Services (the "Goods and Services"). The description of the Goods and Services sets out the minimum requirements of the City. The Contractor shall furnish all necessary labour, materials, supplies, and transportation for the maintenance and construction or renovation of natural area trails found in forests, meadows, or shrub lands in accordance with this agreement. Maintenance includes the repair of tread surfaces, 'blowing' of leaves in the fall, maintenance of trail drainage features, and the shearing, mowing, or pruning of vegetation adjacent to the trail. Construction is the installation of a new trail through a natural area such as a meadow or forest, whereas renovation is the replacement or expansion of the tread surface on an existing trail.
