The Surety must be licensed to do business in the State of Florida, must be included on the United States Department of the Treasurys Listing of Approved Sureties, and must have at least an A- rating in accordance with the most current A.M. Best Company financial strength ratings. No award of a contract or subcontract can be made at any tier to any party which is debarred or suspended or otherwise excluded from or ineligible for participation pursuant to federal or state requirements.
