The purpose of this Bid is to establish a contract for purchasing fire extinguishers and conduct inspections, testing, and repairs for The School Board of Orange County, Florida on an as-needed basis. Question End Date 1/20/2025 2:00 PM. The estimated contract value of this Bid is $160,000. Bid Bonds: Bid bonds, when required, shall be submitted with the Bid submittal in the amount specified. Bid bonds will be returned to un-awarded Contractors. The formal written protest must be accompanied by a protest bond, cashier's check, or money order in the amount of one percent (1%) of the total estimated contract value. Licenses & Certifications: Contractor shall provide a copy of Department of Transportation (DOT) High-Pressure Vessel Test Certification. It is required to perform the hydro-test. Right to Reject: OCPS reserves the right to reject any or all Bid(s), to waive minor irregularities, and/or to accept the Bid(s), which in its sole judgment best serves the interest of OCPS. Length of Contract and Renewals: This Bid intends to establish a contract for an initial period of three (3) years from the date of the award by the OCPS School Board with two (2) additional one-year renewal options at the same prices, terms, conditions, and specifications upon mutual agreement by OCPS and the Contractor. Renewals must be in writing, with the signature of the Contractor's authorized representative and OCPS.
