The work generally consists of contracting a licensed C-57 Well Drilling Contractor to drill a new potable waterwell, at the Lake Henshaw Resort located at 26439 Highway 76, Santa Ysabel, CA. 92070. All questions relative to this project prior to the opening of bids should be directed in writing to the District byemail VIDPurchasing@vidwater.org. All questions must be received no later than Wednesday, January 29,2025, at 5:00 p.m. in order to be considered.In accordance with the laws of the California Department of Industrial Relations and jurisdiction where the Workis located, the Owner has adopted the general prevailing wage rates for each craft or type of workman neededintheexecutionoftheWork Contractor to provide pricing for each line item identified in the below phase 1 (base bid) and phase 2 (options if required) of work. Each line item is identified as either a per foot, per day, each occurrence or lump sum cost basis. The per foot line items listed below will be paid based on the final well design, video inspection, actual depths drilled and amount of material installed. Not every line item listed below may apply based on conditions encountered. Line items that are not applicable to the actual work performed will not be paid. Line items will be paid based on actual quantities performed as part of the work. Contractor may add any additional line items and costs to the proposals, beyond the phase 2 options, as deemed to be necessary or beneficial, but they will not be used in the evaluation of the base bid.
