After that day and time, noquestions will be answered by the Engineer or Owner The Work is to include furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment, and performing all work necessary forthe construction of a new NTMWD delivery point, 1.75 MG ground storage tank and new concrete mortar unit(CMU) pump station building including but not limited to: five (5) horizontal end-suction pumps, piping, valves,site improvements, and associated electrical and control equipment.3. Pre-qualification of bidders is not required with the bid. The SUCCESSFUL BIDDER will be required to fill outthe included qualification statement of bidders form Bids shall be accompanied by a cashier s check or certified check from a national or state bank in an amountnot less than five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price, payable without recourse to GREATER TEXOMAUTILITY AUTHORITY on behalf of Bear Creek Special Utility District , or an original bid bond in the same amountfrom a surety company licensed by the State of Texas to act as a Surety and listed on the current U.S. TreasuryListing of Approved Sureties, or a Binder of Insurance executed by a surety company licensed by the State ofTexas to act as a surety or its authorized agent as a guarantee that the respondent will enter into a contract andexecute a Performance Bond within ten (10) days after notice of award of contract to respondent. All bidderssecurity will be retained until a contract has been awarded and executed The Owner reserves the right to accept the bid which, in its judgment provides the most value to the Owner;to reject any or all bids; and to waive irregularities or informalities in any bid received, deemed to be in the bestinterest of the Owner. Conditional or qualified bids will not be accepted. In case of ambiguity or lack ofclearness in stating prices in the bid, the Owner reserves the right to accept the most advantageousconstruction thereof to the Owner or to reject the bid. No officer or employee of the Owner shall have afinancial interest, direct or indirect, in any contract with the Owner. No bid may be withdrawn within one-hundred twenty (120) days after the Closing Time without prior written approval of the Owner.8. The date/time stamp located in the Owner s office serves as the official time clock. The Owner cannotguarantee that any bids sent priority mail will be picked up from the post office by Owner employees anddelivered to the Owner by the Closing time. It is recommended that bid deliveries be made either in person orvia an alternate delivery method ensuring delivery to the physical address. Bidder bears full responsibility for ensuring the bid isdelivered to the specified location by the Closing Time. The mere fact that a bid was dispatched will not be considered.
