Scope of Work to Be Performed Under This Improvement Shall Generally Consist of Pavement Repair, Milling and Resurfacing Along Various City Streets. Improvements Include Pavement Planning, Asphalt Overlay, Full Depth Base Repairs, Utility Manhole and Valve Adjustments, Thermoplastic Striping, Curb Repairs and Curb Ramp Repairs. Improvement Shall Be in Accordance With the Contract Documents. Each Bidder is Required to Furnish With Its Proposal, a Bid Guaranty (10% of the Bid Amount) and Contract Bond (100% of the Bid Amount) in Accordance With Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid Security Furnished in Bond Form, Shall Be Issued by a Surety Company or Corporation Licensed in the State of Ohio to Provide Said Surety. 1.6 Each Proposal Must Contain the Full Name of the Party or Parties Submitting the Proposal and All Persons Interested Therein. All Legal Forms in Bid Book Should Be Used and/or Acknowledged When Submitting a Bid. Each Bidder Must Submit Evidence of Its Experiences on Projects of Similar Size and Complexity. All Contractors and Subcontractors Involved With the Project Will to the Extent Practicable Use Ohio Products, Materials, Services, and Labor in the Implementation of the Project. Additionally, Contractor Compliance With the Equal Employment Opportunity Requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123 is Required. 1.7 Bidders Must Comply With the Prevailing Wage Rates on Public Improvements in Montgomery County and the City of Trotwood as Determined by the by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Bureau of Wage and Hour Administration, (614) 644-2239. The City of Trotwood Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids in Accordance With the Contract Documents. Bids Shall Be Enclosed in a Sealed Envelope Identified as "2025 Paving Program" and Must Have the Full Name and Address of the Bidder on the Envelope. The City of Trotwood Reserves the Right to Add to or to Subtract From the Contract Quantities. The City of Trotwood Also Reserves the Right to Hold All Proposals for Sixty (60) Days.
