Scope Will Include but Not Be Limited to Removal and Disposal of Acm Flooring, Sheetrock, Joint Compound, Plumbing Pipe Insulation and Ceiling Textures; and Subsequent Air Clearance Testing. All Work Shall Be Performed in Compliance With, Including but Not Limited to Nc Occupational Safety and Health Standards for the Construction Industry (29 Cfr 1926 and 29 Cfr 1910; 13 N.c.a.c. 7c .0101), 29 Cfr 1010.1001 and 29 Cfr 1926.1101. Work involves removal and proper disposal of asbestos containing materials (ACM) throughout the Housing Authority's portfolio on as-needed basis. No Bids Will Be Considered or Accepted Unless at the Time of Its Filing the Same Shall Be Accompanied by a Cash Deposit, Cashier's Check, or Certified Check on a Bank or Trust Company Insured by the Fdic and Authorized to Do Business in North Carolina in the Amount Equal to Five Percent (5%) of the Bid Amount. As an Alternate, a 5% Bid Bond Issued by a Corporate Surety Licensed by the State of North Carolina May Be Filed With the Bid. The Raleigh Housing Authority Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids. The Bids Shall Provide the Cost for Furnishing All Necessary Equipment, Materials, Labor, Related Services, Permits and Related Fees and Complying With All Related Federal (Epa, Osha, and Hud), State and Local Regulations for the Following: Base Bid (Lump Sum) Work Involves Removal and Proper Disposal of Asbestos Containing Materials (Acm) Throughout the Housing Authority's Portfolio on as-needed Basis.
