Make sure your representative wears suitable clothing and shoes for climbing a ladder and standing on the roof. No officer or employee of Macomb Township shall have a financial interest, direct or indirect, in any contract with Macomb Township. The awarded Contractor will remove and replace current rooftop unit #2. Work will include the disconnection and reconnection of any necessary plumbing, electrical connections and any needed curb adapter. Removal and replacement of the HVAC unit will require a crane. All refrigerants from the existing system will be reclaimed and disposed of per EPA regulatory standards. Any damage caused to the roof by removal or installation of the unit will be repaired at the awarded Proposer's expense.
