The Board of Park Commissioners of the Elk Grove Park District, Elk Grove Village, Illinois, invites Bids for the 2025 Rainbow Falls Link Seal Replacement for the Elk Grove Park District. Project Location: 200 Rev Morrison Blvd, Elk Grove, IL 60007 All bidders must submit a Bid Bond or Cashier's or Certified Check for 10% of the total contract amount with their bid form. The Contractor shall commence work following notice to proceed on/or after Monday, February 17, 2025 and perform all work on a regular full-time basis during weekdays until final completion. All Bidders are required to demonstrate to the satisfaction of the Park District, that they are capable and able to complete the work as required in the specifications. Each bidder shall submit with his Bid, proof that he satisfactorily performed work of a similar nature to that specified within the preceding two years, together with the locations and the names of the responsible individuals in charge of such projects. The general prevailing rate of wages in the locality for each craft or type of worker or mechanic needed to execute the contract or perform the work, and the general prevailing rate for legal holiday and overtime work, as ascertained by the Park District or the Illinois Department of labor shall be paid for each craft or type of worker needed to execute the contract or to perform such work and it shall be mandatory upon the Contractor to whom the contract is awarded and upon any subcontractor under him to pay not less than the specified rates to all laborers, workers and mechanics employed by them in the execution of the contract or such work. Certified payroll is required on this project for both general and subcontractors.
