Non-Complex Design/Build for Idle Brook Bankfull Wetlands Engineer's Estimate: Base Bid : 1,492,500.00 start Date: 1 /01 /2025 Approx. Completion Date: 10/31 /2026 The project will excavate wetland pools adjacent to the streams and replace invasive plants with native plantings in order to provide improved habitat and provide stormwater storage to reduce flooding and erosion. Question Deadline 01/27/2025 at 2:00 PM ET Hard copies will not be accepted and will be returned unopened. The County reserves the right to reject all bids. Project Description: The Project consists of restoring naturally functioning, high-quality floodplain wetlands that are also optimized to offload erosive stormwater flows from the Yellow Creek stream network. By intercepting and attenuating flows from ~10.4 square miles of drainage area (1/3 of the entire Yellow Creek watershed), the project aims to substantially reduce erosion in the downstream reaches of Yellow Creek, while also improving habitat and water quality
