The Contractorshall complete all work under this contract within ninety five (95) calendar days between April 28, 2025 - August 1, 2025. However, once Notice to Proceed is provided, the awarded contractor may begin work at its discretion if all other contract requirements have been met without penalty to the 95-day contract time herein. Resurfacing: Upon milling of the existing surface course, the contractor shall install the new HMA surface within 14 calendar days. Curb ramp and sidewalk replacements as part of the resurfacing can be completed under traffic outside of the resurfacing window but shall also be completed with 14 calendar days of removal of the existing ramp and/or sidewalk. PCCP Patching: Upon removal of the existing PCCP panel(s), the contractor shall complete the necessary work to reopen the patched areas within 14 calendar days. Naomi Street Reconstruction: The full closure for Naomi Street shall not exceed 30 days. Each bid must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder. Bids shall be submitted on General form 96 as approved by the Indiana State Board of Accounts along with a bid bond executed by the bidder and a surety company, or a certified check payable to the Town of Edinburgh in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid shall be submitted with the bid. The Edinburgh Town Council reserves the right to accept or reject any bid or any part thereof. Project Description: The work shall consist of, but is not limited to, road reconstruction, asphalt milling, asphalt paving, concrete pavement patching, curb ramp installation, pavement marking, and all other work necessary to complete each item as included in the Construction Schedule and Specifications for the 2024-2 Paving Project.
