Anticipated start date for construction is spring 2025. Various Locations 300 Forty Foot Rd, Lansdale PA 19446 The NORTH PENN WATER AUTHORITY reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids. All questions shall be submitted through the E-Bid System. WORK BY CONTRACTOR (Sealing and Coating Operations Center Parking Lot and Yard) Furnish all supervision, labor, tools, equipment, materials, and supplies (except those items specifically listed herein to be furnished by Owner) to perform the work as follows: 3.1.1 All work is to be performed at 300 Forty Foot Rd, Lansdale PA 19446. 3.1.2 The contractor must complete all prescribed work submitted via email within 60 calendar days. Failure to complete the work within the allowed time frame may constitute a breach of contract. 3.1.3 The contractor shall submit monthly invoices for work completed the previous 30 days. 3.1.4 Coordination at the start of any work shall be done with the Project Manager or his designee to ensure that essential communications are completed. No work is to be allowed without a minimum of 72 hour notice to NPWA. Non-scheduled or noninspected work due to lack of notification will not be approved for payment. 3.1.5 All excavated material, such as concrete, blacktop paving, earth, stone and refuse of any kind resulting from the work, shall be removed by the Contractor from the work area to leave the site in condition satisfactory to the engineer upon completion of the work. Any soil disturbance from paving shall be top soiled, seeded and mulched. Stone that is excavated from trenches to be restored, may be required to be returned to NPWA's yard. Returning the stone to NPWA's stockyard will not be considered as services rendered requiring additional payment. During the progress of the work, the area shall be kept clean of debris and waste material. Payment for removal of surplus materials shall be included in unit bid prices. 3.1.6 Standard specifications of societies, associations, institutes, etc., referred to in these specifications shall refer to the latest edition of such specifications, unless otherwise noted. 3.1.7 The Contractor shall guarantee the work and material for a period of one (1) year from date of completion and acceptance. If any material and/or workmanship proves to be defective within one (1) year, it shall be repaired by the Contractor at his expense. 3.1.8 It shall be the responsibility of the Contractor to provide all necessary construction signs, barricades and lights to provide adequate protection of the construction area. No additional payment will be made to the Contractor for barricades, lights and/or signs. 3.1.9 The total lump sum bid price to include crack sealing,seal coating, and line striping for the main parking lot area (approximately 95,350 SF), back parking lot area (approximately 34,850 SF) and barn driveway (approximately 6,500 SF) at the North Penn Water Authority Operations center located at 300 Forty Foot Rd Lansdale PA 19446. See attached drawing of parking and yard area. 3.1.10 All cracks 1/4" wide or greater to be repaired with a hot pour rubberized crack filler (Seal Master or equivalent). The cracks to be cleaned with a mechanical type wheel where needed and then all lose debris removed with forced air. The material is heated in and oil jacketed machine to prevent burning. After the material reaches a temperature of 350 degrees it is pumped onto the crack where a squeegee is then taken over it for a smooth finish.
