Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Rahway, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The Project includes improvement of existing concrete sidewalks that have been uplifted or damaged by existing tree roots in various locations in the City of Rahway. The work will consist of sidewalk removal and reconstruction, full depth pavement repairs, reconstruction of curbs and driveway aprons, selective tree removal and tree planting, stump grinding and removal, and site restoration. The Project also includes the installation of flood warning and gauge signs in locations around the City that experience flooding, restoration of areas where signs are proposed to be placed, and other associated work as contained in the Contract Documents or as ordered by the Engineer. Three Sets of Documents, One Original and Two Certified Copies, Must Be Enclosed in Sealed Envelopes Bearing the Name and Address of the Bidder and the Name of the Project on the Outside and Be Addressed to the City of Rahway and Must Be Accompanied by a Statement of Consent of Surety From a Surety Company Authorized to Do Business in the State of New Jersey and Acceptable to the Municipality and Either a Bid Bond or a Certified Check Drawn to the Order of "City of Rahway" for Not Less Than Ten Percent (10%) of the Amount Bid, Except That the Check Shall Not Exceed $20,000.00. The Successful Bidder is Hereby Notified That a Performance Bond and Labor and Material (Payment) Bond for the Full Amount of This Project is Required. The Award of the Contract for This Project Will Not Be Made Until the Necessary Funds Have Been Provided by the Owner in a Lawful Manner.
