Renovation of a municipal facility in Freeport, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Stephenson County Sheriff's Office will be accepting sealed bids for the Basement ADA Restroom Renovation at the Stephenson County Courthouse located at 15 N. Galena Ave., Freeport, IL 61032. The Sheriff and the Stephenson County Board reserve the right to waive technicalities and to reject any or all bids 1. Design an ADA compliant restroom in the west space of the existing restroom. 2. Construct or renovate existing doors to be ADA compliant entrance doors (3), to restroom area and restrooms themselves. 3. Remove any obstructions withing the west restroom. 4. Remove and replace any non-compliant ADA fixtures in the west restroom. 5. Install, reroute, or remove all plumbing to comply with all codes and ordinances. 6. Install, reroute, or remove all electrical to comply with all codes and ordinances. 7. Maintain dust and control barriers. 8. Remove and repair floors and block walls as needed. 9. Replace west restroom door with a 3' wide metal door with ADA compliant privacy lock and closer. 10.Replace existing toilets and lavatories with ADA compliant toilets and lavatories. 11. Paint the west restroom and door. 12. Install ADA compliant grab bars mirror and sinks. 13. Provide ADA Compliant Signage. 14. Provide a performance bid bond. 15.Clean up and removal of all debris at the end of the day from the jobsite.
