Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The City is reconstructing Shady Oak Road from Valley View Road to Flying Cloud Drive. In addition to roadway repairs, the project will include minor improvements to the watermain, sanitary sewer and storm sewer in the area. The project will also include construction of a trail from Valley View Road to Flying Cloud Drive, which will close an existing gap and provide connection to the Southwest Light Rail Transit Golden Triangle Station. Private driveway aprons along the trail route will be replaced. The updated proposed scope includes maintaining the existing street width, with the exception of the Valley View Intersection turn lane widening, completing a rehabilitation of the road surface, adding a new bituminous trail along the west side of the road using grant funds obtained by the City along with trail funds, leaving room for potential widening in the future. The project is included in the City's 2025-2034 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of January 15, 2025, project is funded for FY2025. Construction is expected to begin in mid-Summer 2025. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
