The Cypress Elementary School Renovation and Addition project involves the transformation of a 72,000-square-foot, single-story elementary school in New Port Richey, Florida. A new 641-square-foot facility will be constructed to house the generator, chillers, and electrical systems. Additionally, a new parking lot will be developed in the southwest corner of the site. The renovation includes a comprehensive interior upgrade of the administration and classroom spaces, addressing all building systems and finishes. The kitchen and cafeteria will undergo a complete overhaul, with everything being replaced from the ceiling to the slab on grade. There will be new equipment, walk-in coolers, and appliances amongst other things Site construction will feature significant improvements, including upgraded hardscaping, enhanced fire, stormwater, and sewer systems, new concrete sidewalks, and expanded surface parking Interested subcontractor bidders must be prequalified through Ajax Building. Construction Start: June 4, 2025 Substantial Completion: May 2026 Final Completion: June 2026
