The R.M. of Monet No. 257 is accepting sealed tenders for gravel loading and hauling. We require approximately 12,000 to 18,000 cubic yards of gravel spread on municipal roads for a 1 year contract starting in the spring of 2025. The loading and hauling is to be completed between May 1st and July 15th, weather permitting. Pit Locations: RM Pit: NE 19-26-13 W3 Woodworth Pit: SE 3-26-14 W3 Each tender shall include the following information: o a breakdown of the price per cubic yard mile haul; minimum haul mileage; loading charge per cubic yard; fuel surcharge and any other charges; taxes; and a total price; o a copy of letter of good standing with Sask. WCB; o a list of equipment/machinery that will be used and the insurance coverage for the equipment/machinery. Due to the sensitive location of the gravel pit, Council reserves the right to ban equipment/machinery from the pit that is not in good repair i.e. oil leaks. Fuel storage will not be allowed in the gravel pit area; o an expected start and finish date. The Foreman of the R.M. of Monet No. 257 is in charge of all gravelling operations. Gravel trucks must reduce speed when meeting vehicles on the road and going past farm yards. The gravel piles will be measured before and after the gravel haul by a third party hired by the R.M. of Monet No. 257. The difference in the piles will be compared to the cubic yards billed for gravel loading and hauling. For more information contact the R.M. Foreman at 306-378-7151
