Site work for a water / sewer project in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
rehabilitation/replacement of construction of approximately 2,230 LF of rehabilitated gravity sewer lines and 19 manholes to provide improved service to the residents of the Arcadia community, known as the Arcadia Sewer Improvements Project (Phase 1) Questions should be directed to the attention of Hal Morris, hmorris@spartanburgwater.org. A satisfactory Bid Bond provided by an acceptable surety (or the cash equivalent) in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid. Performance and payment bonds in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price will be required. The bonds must be secured by cash or must be issued by a surety company licensed in the State of South Carolina with an "A" minimum rating of performance as stated in the most current publication of "Best Key Rating Guide, Property Liability." Certificates of Insurance naming the District as an additional insured and with limits as noted in the bid documents will be required. Contractors submitting bids shall be properly licensed in the State of South Carolina to bid and perform the work on which the bid is submitted at the date of the bid. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive any informalities in the bidding. *The value for this project is based on a financial range of $550,000 - $750,000. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
