Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to Wheeling Housing Authority in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the base bid. Contractor is required to provide the Drug Free Workplace Certification in accordance with WV Code 21- 1D-5. All Bidders are required to have a West Virginia Contractor's License per Section 30-42-12 of the West Virginia Code. Bidders are advised that the Contract awarded under this Advertisement for Bids is to be funded (entirely/or in part) by a grant from the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Neither the United States nor any of its departments, agencies, or employees is or will be a party to this Advertisement for Bids or any resulting Contract.
