leaning of various municipal facilities owned by the Borough of Glen Rock, NJ Bidders must enclose with their bid a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond for ten (10%) per cent of the amount of their bid. Each proposal must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder, addressed to the Borough of Glen Rock and plainly marked on the outside of the envelope: "CLEANING BID". The Borough of Glen Rock reserves the right to waive technical deficiencies and to reject any and all bids if such rejection shall be found to be in the best interest of the Borough. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act (N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25 et seq.), if applicable. Proof of exemption from the provisions of the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act shall be submitted to the Borough with the Bid. Bids may be held by the Borough of Glen Rock for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding of the contract, unless said period is extended by mutual consent. The awarded bid will be a one (1) year term of proposed contract, with an option of the Borough of Glen Rock to extend for up to two (2) additional one (1) year terms.
