CTH U - County Line to CTH HH Scope of Work Pavement replacement of CTH U in 2026. Main work items include pulverizing the existing surface, fine grading, driveway culvert replacement and asphalt paving. Local Road Improvement Funding is applicable to this project. Minority-Owned, Woman-Owned, and Small Business Enterprises are encouraged to respond to this solicitation. 1.0 GENERAL INFORMATION 1.1 Introduction The Eau Claire County Highway Department is requesting proposals for engineering services for an LRIP (ID: 18711) funded highway design along the following 4.13-mile segment of road: 1. CTH U from the Trempeleau County Line to CTH HH a. Currently a two-lane Local Road b. Recent Daily Traffic = 159 The purpose of the engineering design services project is to design improvements to the existing road segment in accordance with WisDOT and Eau Claire County Standards. Construction year is planned for 2026. All design services shall follow the guidelines and policies included in the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Facilities Development Manual (FDM). 1.2 Scope of Services o Provided design services to include: Pavement Replacement of 4.13 miles of rural cross section Expected services required to complete the environmental document according to local WDNR coordination. Preliminary and final design services Review of curves and recommend potential improvements. Review corridor drainage based on survey and provide drainage improvement recommendations, if any. Culvert inventory to be provided by Eau Claire County. Driveway culvert improvements will be part of the project. Eau Claire County will manage cross culverts in need of replacement.
