Reference Number 0000373001 This COSDS Area 3 Rehabilitation project includes the below general quantities. Refer to the attached drawings for complete project details and bid form for complete bid quantity. o 2,534 linear feet of cured in-place pipe (CIPP) lining with non-styrenated resin (5 pipe segments approximately 240 ft long to 930 ft long, and 48" diameter) o Manhole rehabilitation and spray applied lining of 6 4 ft inner diameter manholes (approximate vertical depths between 17.5 ft to 22 ft) o Bypass pumping required to isolate each pipe segment to be rehabilitated (1,430 to 3,190 gpm: bypass routes vary between 1,058 ft to 1,981 ft) o Traffic control and maintenance for each lining and bypass pumping setup and various additional site preparation, site restoration, SESC controls, and all work within the sewer/manholes to install bypass pumping systems, CIPP liner and spray applied liners. A. The Contract, if awarded, will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, and responsible bidder, subject to the final approval by the Owner. The Contract will be awarded subject to receipt of funds to finance the project and acquisition of easements, during which time the Bids of the lowest three responsive, responsible Bidders will be held. The party to whom the Contract is awarded will be required to execute the Agreement and obtain the Performance Bond (01 61 13) and Labor and Material Bond (01 61 15) and shall provide proofs of insurance coverage in accordance with the Contract Documents within ten (10) calendar days of the delivery date of the Notice of Award to the successful Bidder. The necessary Agreement and Bond forms shall accompany the Notice of Award. If the Contractor awarded the project fails to execute the Agreement, submit the Performance Bond, Labor and Material Bond and Maintenance and Guarantee Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % -- A certified cashier's check or bid bond for a sum not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the proposal will be required for each proposal.
